We begin our tour by visiting the magnificent building of Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF). Stavros Niarchos was one of the biggest names in the Hellenic Shipping Industry. SNF is one of the world’s leading private, international philanthropic organizations.


The SNF building serves also as the new home for the National Library of Greece as well as the Opera of Athens. Visitors like to walk around SNF park and enjoy a cup of coffee with a sea view.


Next, we drive to the Port of Piraeus which is the largest Greek seaport and one of the biggest in the Mediterranean Sea and Europe. We pass by the hill of Kastella which is one of the most prosperous and attractive neighborhoods of the city, with a panoramic view over Athens and the Saronic Gulf.


Its elegance comes from its numerous neo-classical mansions, while the Veakeio Theater and a church dedicated to the Prophet Elijah are the most popular buildings.
